Solid Ground

written by: Jessikalynn1980

@jessikalynn1980

The water rushes

Over her skin

It wasn't today but

Eventually she would win.

She was not going to

Throw in the towel

All due to

Things running afoul.

She would stand

On solid ground

She is determined

To make a rebound.

She would rise above

The drowning water

With strength so strong

Never again would she falter.

NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:

Sometimes everyone feels as if they are sinking. Your determination depends on whether or not you actually do so keep your head up and never lose your determination.

There is nothing special about me. I am me.
Nothing more. Nothing less.
