  1. Where, do you hail from?

Sioux Falls, South Dakota, United States Of America

  1. What is the greatest thing about the place you call home?

We are not a large city but, we have a diverse culture here in the upper Midwest. As Sioux Falls has grown in populace, it has grown in many other ways. Drawing people from all over the world. This has increased and started to feed our creative growth! Where, for quite some time, it was suppressed and quite often without support. Now we are booming and the hunger is still driving our city for more.

  1. What turns you on creatively?

If I could explain this in the definite, I would, my main source is life and all my moments/experiences. Though I feel, this comes through me more than I make a choice to write… and yes, I do choose to write. As I have had to learn to embrace openly this call to be a writer, I now enjoy it and accept it as a part of my energy that I am unwilling to let go of.

  1. What is your favorite word, and can you use it in a poetic sentence?

Kindness…

Let our kindness, lead our way, away from ignorance… away from our blindness.

  1. What is your pet peeve?

Ignorance, lack of forgiveness, and hate into hateful actions.

  1. What defines Lyle Hutchinson?

Me! My love for myself, my children, life, my give in the effort, my kindness… Me, I define me!
