Stronger Than Hate

written by: Yvonne

There was never a God in our civilised world
Who Instructed our races to kill
Never a reason, or doctrine or law
Never has been and isn't one still
We will not surrender
We're standing together
You will not determine our fate
Our country's united
We won't be divided
Because love is much stronger than hate

I am 58 years old.
Have been writing since I was a child.
I see beauty in the ordinary.
On several occasions I have performed my poetry in public and have appeared in local newspapers.
