Stuck In The Middle

written by: Freya Pickard

@FreyaPickard

left dangling
forgotten, unwanted
crossing the line
stuck in the middle
neither one thing
or another
half in light
half in dark
suspended midway
betwixt heaven and earth

such a deadly arrow
to bring down a god
a useless tool
in the hand
of a primate
