Ten Life Times
An Anne G
Original Poem
Ten life times
As many as the fingers on your hands.
To comprehend, disseminate
the meaning of the universe.
Ten life times
As many as the digits of your toes.
To reason, think, hypothesize;
why you breathe this planets air.
Ten life times
Count them, one through ten.
To fly through space, distance, and time
a journey through the atmosphere.
Ten life times
Who knows the time that it will take.
To ponder, learn and figure out
the purpose of our time on earth.
Ten life times
To ask the what, and question why.
What is life?
Why are we here?

Why write?
I write because I am:
Driven to distraction by the inequities of the society in which we live.
Motivated by cruelty, abuse, ignorance and indifference.
My intention: To poke, prod and provoke!
"Moderation is a fatal thing. Nothing succeeds like excess." - Oscar Wilde
