The Art of Letting Go

The Art of Letting Go

written by: Saher Imran

They say letting go is an art, but what kind?
‎The kind that holds the universe of unsaid words within it,
‎The one that mirrors the desperate cries of the soul,
‎Or the type where the urgency of heart is as clear as the waves of the ocean?
‎
‎They say letting go is an art, but how to define?
‎Define that the broken tears hide behind the ritual of appearing fine,
‎Because when you have to say, “I am okay,”
‎It marks the unfolding of a tragedy,
‎Where the heart bleeds and brain screams liar at the same time.
‎
‎They say letting go is an art, but when to let go?
‎When the darkness sees no light or when the candle of hope subsides?
‎Is it a moment of bliss in death or the cycle of breathing a soulless self?
‎Who will tell and who will guide when to let go
‎And when to end this disaster of a life?
