The Black Widow

written by: Donna Africa

Who is she?
This exquisite
creature of
such dark,
fiery, smouldering
and intense beauty
with eyes ablaze
and skin of silk
which men covet,
lust and desire
for this Bella Donna
who has bewitched
swayed and stripped
them of their powers

She is a Vamp
A temptress
A seducer of men
using their
own weakness
against them
to allure,
entrap and enrapture
her unsuspecting
prey into her web
of corruption
deceit and desire,
To get what she wants
by using her heinous
and evil powers

A man-eater is she
owner of an icy
ebony heart
Brutal, crippling
and all-consuming
as she devours
her lovers
As there can be
no survivors
You see
As she is
"The Black Widow"

I call myself Donna Africa "The Queen of Dreams" as I relocated from my homelands and motherland Africa to the UK in 2004 to realise and conquer my dreams of yesteryear today!
I was inspired to write poetry by Rodriguez (Cold Fact Fame) Keats (when I sat under the Plum Tree) and Shaka Zulu famous King & warrior and renown for uniting all the tribes as ONE!
I hope my poems inspire and connect as one as this is my dream, vision and life journey!
With Luv, Light and Liberty!
