The End Of The Burning Hot Suns

The End Of The Burning Hot Suns

written by: Wieslaw W Falkowski

translated by: Renata Hildich

and this luminous streak
from dawn to dusk
between dusk and darkness
in which I immerse myself persistently
day after night
night after day
for years
for decades

particle by particle
atom by atom
thought after thought
word after word

or maybe there is not meant to be more
sunrises and sunsets
the hot suns burning
from redness to whiteness
and humble though undefeated
I should enter
the current of a slowly flowing river

particle by particle
atom by atom
thought after thought
word after word
and swim
from darkness to impenetrable blackness

Koniec Słońc Rozpalonych

written by: Wieslaw W Falkowski

a ta świetlista smuga
od świtu do zmierzchu
między mrokiem a mrokiem
w którą wnikam wytrwale
dzień za nocą
za dniem noc
lata całe
całe dekady
cząstka po cząstce
atom po atomie
myśl za myślą
słowo po słowie

a może nie ma już więcej być
wschodów i zachodów
słońc rozpalonych
od czerwieni
do białości
i pokorny
choć niepokonany
wejść powinienem
w nurt płynącej wolno rzeki

cząstka po cząstce
atom po atomie
myśl za myślą
słowo po słowie
popłynąć z mroku w mrok
nieprzenikniony
