NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:
Illustration description: A hummingbird sips from a flower, both gigantic, judging by the curve of the planet in the foreground, from which the flower seems to be growing. Planet, bird, and flower appear in psychedelic colours, contrasting the dark backdrop of outer space…. Created in Adobe Photoshop Elements.
I am mostly a visual artist, but I like to create "found poetry", specifically daily haiku made from the statuses of my Facebook friends. It was my Mom who started this, and officially passed the responsibility onto me when she became too busy.
