The Kanzan

The Kanzan

The Kanzan is now calling
Joy, sadness, delusion
My emotions are all gathering
And I sense the mutation

I breathe with the Jardin des Plantes
Roots nurture me from its core
Because I am now the Kanzan
And I call you, my love

These petals given to the wind
Are crossing the Channel
A pink cloud over the sea
My new body coming for Thee

It will be there by the sunset
Floating on the Cam
For your hands to collect
And with mine to melt

So, as nectar you will flow back
From the river, to the ocean and a river again
Because life you are for my roots to get

The reality suddenly returns
I am only human and tree no more
You the Kingdom, me la République

But yet I stand firm and still
As my feelings forever will.
