The Sailor

written by: Karoline Lesande

Silence the voice that doubts you so,
give space to the echoes of the past and grow.
Smooth seas never taught a man to sail,
it's like jumping off the boat when afraid to fail.
Set your sails and learn to navigate,
whatever's meant to be will be your fate.
Ride the hurricane, the pouring rain,
be fearless when facing the tallest wave.
When the harbor appears and the seas are calm,
the journey has ended and you've travelled far.
The doubts have faded and your vision has cleared,
you'll be proud that you faced the things you once feared.
