The Sun and the Moon

written by: Ryan K

Blocked by earth, and clouded by sea
There is no chance, for us to be.

I am but dust, and rock, and night,
I have no purpose, without your light.

But when our endless paths might meet,
I have your beauty, and share your heat.

I must be patient, turn back into stone,
till I share your love, not be so alone.

First poem I've ever written.
