This Hungry Land

written by: Peter Rimmer

A gossamer korowai,
Sits upon mornings shoulders,
Monochrome misted,

Sun illuminates this glowing shroud,
Quietude is a muffled land,
Birds flit silent between shadow trees,
This misted land hungers for the sun.
