Under This Puzzling Land

I sit upon
this redolent land
A secret sound moving below,
gyring, sort of meandering,
beneath my seat, in a plural form
And I care, yes
Its codename is hope
Your knowledge of it constricts every way
A snake in the cascade remains words-prone,
eternally lapped in the questions busy making
this world every day,
each moment
