Evil words can sting your heart,
they linger on and rip apart.
Words can sneak up from behind,
words can penetrate your mind.
Evil words can make you weep,
evil words can dig down deep.
Evil words can leave you stranded,
lonely, sad and emptyhanded.
But the words that might just leave you dead
are those that really are left unsaid.
