You there!

written by: Sheikha A.

Enshrouded face,
I know of your scent
doused under deceiving
musk.

Scuttling niftily
between foggy covers,
I know of your spirit,
reneged.

Adopting obscurity,
muffling presence
to hide behind the next
mob.

Whiff me in turn;
I know of sentience,
your movements changed,
timid.

Sadden not, to me
the solstice has turned,
bringing with new hour:
solitude.
