Billowing smoky veil obscures
Glimpses of last minute clarity,
Pellucid snatches of regrets
And dreams that never were…
Struggle to the surface gasping for oxygen.
Thoughts frustrated to be known
Escape through whispers,
before the final submission to the inevitable,
Silencing of the critcal voice.
K.T has spent a career in which writing was used to inform, analyse and describe, but about and for other people. She is now searching for her own creative voice. The dream is to write a novel and write as full time as retirement will allow.
