The Tooth Fairy

The Tooth Fairy

written by: Ed Sams

She watches bedroom windows
And waits as children sleep
To steal in like moonlight
Then fade out like starlight
Turning ivory to silver.

Once this ivory huntress
With a team of dreaming children
Raided the North Pole
To take the red-striped marker
(Worth a fortune in peppermint).

Santa and his reindeer rushed
To save their custom’s totem,
But all they found were a silver ax
And a team of dreaming children
To be escorted home.
