Unfading Scars
written by: Kiraita Stephen
Dark spots on my gloomy face
Is what the world rendered,
Waking and yawning in hopelessness;
Wrecking havoc in disguise
The scars in my heart,
Reminders of the alien world we are in.
Is it our fate to drag behind?
Like military soldiers, we keep on pushing the load.
Top to the mountains I climb
The view so fascinating,
Made of beautiful roses with a pleasant aroma
Worries so deep, humans so strange-
The famous are like a castle of wolves
Our lives like a log-
Just breathing fire and soothing the warmth in the world,
Our tears like water flow down our cheeks,
Strongly positioning the wretched everything-
Indeed, a closed mouth catches no flies
