A Heart’s Longing

When I see you again,
I will run to you,
Or maybe,
I will just stand still in awe, catching my breath.
When I see you again,
I will hug you tightly,
Or maybe,
I will just drop down on my knees with tears flooding through my eyes.
When I see you again,
I will kiss you with all the love in my heart,
Or maybe,
I will just find myself quivering with emotions that I cannot control.
When I see you again,
I don’t know what I will do,
But I can’t wait for that moment,
Because I’m so in love with you!
I'm a nurse by profession but I love to read and write. I only started writing poems about two years ago so that I can pen down my feelings and emotions. It's a way of expression of my thoughts.
