A Sonnet to Self-Love

A Sonnet to Self-Love

written by: Illustrious Da Poet

In quiet moments, when the world is still,
I find within a strength I can’t deny.
A fire burns with more than simple will,
A light that shines from deep within my eye.

No voice but mine can tell me who I am,
No mirror’s gaze can show my worth to me.
I’ve walked through storms, yet here I firmly stand,
A force unbroken, wild, and truly free.

I’ve learned to love the scars upon my skin,
Each mark a tale of battles bravely won.
The heart within me holds the truth within,
A love for self that rivals moon and sun.

For in this life, to love oneself is key,
The door unlocked, the soul’s pure harmony.
