Agares

Agares

written by: Jerome Berglund

sudden draft
the old bird’s
long silence

duckweed
across lake’s shallow bottom
a crocodile stalks

sheet lightning
goshawk from the highest
point launches

strange tongue
there is order
to the orgy

light language
unexpected highlights
to the morning
