Another Day

(Good For The Whole)

Woke too early, couldn’t get back to sleep.
It’s just like me, early morn’ and I’m in deep.
Watching videos on the war.
Writing poetry, can’t get back to sleep.

It’s just another day here.
These are the things we do.
While maintaining our material life
We try to do it all without strife.
And we’re feeding the life of our souls.
Such labors are good for the whole.

She wakes up closer to noon.
I prefer my chores be done soon.
Once she’s had her coffee,
She’ll have a list of tasks for me
to be done ably.

It’s just another day here.
These are the things we do.
While maintaining our material life
We try to do it all without strife.
And we’re feeding the life of our souls.
Such labors are good for the whole.
