My name is Amy Chrestman, and I have always been a late bloomer! After being married for almost twenty years and birthing three wonderful boys, I decided to earn my Master of Arts degree in teaching, which is my current day job. Though I love my work and my students so much, there was still something missing. I decided to follow my dream of becoming a writer. Choosing to write under the name "AL Chrestman" was decided, because I wanted my writing out there for all to read with just an ever so subtle change to my name to represent my new identity as a published author. My first novel was self-published via Amazon in February 2022. The beautiful settings that appear in my imagination that are quietly commentated by the voices of my characters is never-ending, and my writing will continue as long as I live. Just as I have connected with other writers' writings, I know one day people will read my stories and say, "Her words resonate with my soul in so many ways."
