Hailing from the Dandenong Ranges, Arimaya Ryan has self published two collections to date; Cupid's Fool (2017) and A Whisper Bounce From Star To Star (2019). His Poetry flows like the creeks and springs of the Mountains which he has shadowed his entire life, combining the patient imagery of the stretching maturation of undergrowth with murmured rhythmic Utopian ideals and psychedelic fantasies of the Beat Generation, in homage. Arimaya Ryan (Ryan Dickinson) runs Poetesis Open Mic at Sooki Lounge in Belgrave once a fortnight.
