Beverley Joughin-Robson is a retired English teacher. She was born in Essex in 1960 and has been writing poetry since childhood. Her first collection, Life's Journey Through Poetry, is a culmination of poems collated over the years up till 2018, when her first grandchild was born and she retired. Now with the time to indulge in creativity, she enjoys writing and painting, and being with her grandchildren Mae and Jude. The second collection is similar in style but includes several poems about surviving Covid mixed with the more positive poems of the many walks enjoyed and other moments and memories from these very different two years. It also includes some of the paintings she completed, in response to her writing.
