Retired after a career in children and family services at the local, state, and private arenas. Beginning as a special education teacher, then school psychologist, then leading children's services for the city of Jacksonville, Florida; leading Big Brothers Big Sisters, and then overseeing children's services for Duval County Schools. All of these job opportunities involved writing, editing, and publishing work.
