Christian Bass
Christian Bass was born in September 1978 in Hamburg, Germany, and grew up in Ahrensburg. From 2009 to 2015, he lived on the island of Mauritius, before moving to Essen, West Germany. In 2024, he returned to Mauritius. Christian studied journalism and photography at ILS Hamburg, then explored audiovisual psychology at Yale and rhetoric at Harvard. His passion for writing began in 1988, publishing his first work in 1999. Between 2000 and 2002, he contributed short stories and poems to several magazines. In 2011, he founded cbvisions photography, turning his passion into a career. Since then, Christian has published poems, stories, and compositions in multiple languages, continuing to share his creative voice with the world.
