I have an English and History degree, working briefly as an English teacher and subsequently as an Assistant Director of Human Resources at the Open University. I have had several successes with short stories for adults, winning the 2014 H E Bates and the 2015 Curry Mallet short story competitions and have been shortlisted in a number of other competitions. I have also had the first two books in a dyslexia friendly children’s series ‘Horace Burp, Lizard Boy’ and ‘Horace Burp, Lizard Boy Hero’ published by Circaidy Gregory Press. The first book was a Wishing Shelf bronze award winner.
