Debby accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior in 1974. She has been tutoring since 1972 and has a master’s degree in literacy. Intellect Publishing has published her Fairhope Dragon series: four books and nine mini books for children; her memoir - which won an International Impact Book Award in 2025 – Dynamic Debby: Overcoming Prematurity and Poor Vision; and has published her book of poetry: Soul Stories.: Poetry From the Heart. She has had poems published online by The Writers Club and has been published in Poetica #26 by Clarendon House Publications.
