Dilyan Benev
Dilyan Benev was born in Varna, zodiac sign Aquarius. Graduated in internal trade at the University of Economics - Varna and optionally - journalism. Since 1999 lives in Sofia. He is the author of 10 books of aphorisms, fragments, parables and short stories. His style is short, lapish and synthesized prose on the border between satire and moralism. He creates original work, far from foreign influences. His works are included in one Bulgarian, Hungarian, Serbian and two Italian anthologies. His book of fragments "Transfigurations" was published last year. He has won three awards for the wittiest sentence to a photograph of a celebrity. And a prize for the wittiest text on a given topic in the newspaper Bulgaran (920. Ancona (2023), his short story was awarded a diploma. He has had numerous publications in the media and appearances on television and radio. He is an active contributor to the newspaper "Third Age."
