Genna Anneliese is an American professsor and writer living in Linz, Austria. Originally hailing from Michigan, she writes to bridge her past to her present through her Austrian family heritage and deepen her connection with nature. As a young writer, some of her English and German language poetry has been published at Oakland University. During her time there, she won the Original German Poetry Award in Noche Literaria 2018 at OU, and was published in OU Student Writer’s Group Swallow the Moon Annual Journal 2019 and Noche Literaria 2016.
