Jo lives in a small village in the UK with her husband, Paul. They are allowed to live there by their domineering tuxedo cat, Alfie, who wishes they would feed him more tuna and stop going on holiday. Jo has only recently started writing, and Alfie likes to protest by sitting on her laptop or randomly pressing the keyboard keys.
