Julie A. Niven writes poetry, narrative nonfiction and travel narratives. Her poetry has been published in Passages North, Arachne, Bellowing Ark, Miller’s Pond, Albatross, Reflections, Elf and elsewhere. Her book, Raven on a Rooftop, chronicles her three year tour as a clinical social worker in the Alaska bush. She currently lives in northern Virginia.
