Dr. Mandy, an American child psychologist taught at the American University in Cairo and as a Fulbright Scholar at Cairo University Medical School. She’s worked in national, international, and off-beat situations with delinquents, the terminally ill, orphans, foster children, Native Americans living on reservations, refugees and immigrants, the mentally ill; and all ages in the States, Egypt, and Palestine. She’s published poetry and has many professional and magazine articles published in Arabic about loss and grief, pediatric cancer, trauma, conflict, bullying, and child abuse. Her bibliotherapy books for children have been published in Arabic, English, and Bahasa Indonesia.
