Marilou is a storytelling creature of the night who has been socialised in living during the day: she is a teacher by day and a musician by night. Most of her poems had lives as songs and most of her academic writing has been about her two passions: music and education. She was raised in the eerie rainy town of Patras and wished to escape, leading her to the eerie rainy town of Oxford. She likes telling stories and doesn’t consider herself a writer – but knows some really good ones. She finds the arts to be a solace for our souls and hopes her contributions will resonate well with some readers and listeners.
