Naoki Kimura is a fine photographic artist from Japan who grew up in Kyoto’s historic Nishijin district. His work, deeply influenced by landscapes and culture, explores the interplay of time, space, and perception. Drawing from the aesthetics of harmony and impermanence, he continues to pursue what he calls “Nagi” — Mono no Aware — capturing the subtle fluctuations and textures that define the fleeting essence of existence. Now based in Tokyo, he remains dedicated to this artistic exploration.
