Sheri Vandermolen began writing poetry in 2013, and her verse has since achieved global critical acclaim, with publication in over three dozen prominent literary journals from North America to Southeast Asia. In 2016, she was a featured poet in Contemporary American Voices, and her work has been showcased in two anthologies: Veils, Halos and Shackles and Poets Speaking to Poets: Echoes and Tributes. A photographer with six-year residence in Bangalore and travel to 65 countries, she paired her original digital shots and verse to create the volume Jasmine Fractals: Poems of Urban India (Shanti Arts, 2017), and her journeys in Rajasthan, Myanmar, and beyond have been reflected in editorial spreads for Camel Saloon, Cargo Literary, Shadows and Light, Still Point Arts Quarterly, and Whole Terrain. She currently resides in California, where she pursues freelance writing and photography.
