Susie Rankin
My essays, poems, articles, and children's stories have been published in McSweeney's, Couloir Magazine, Slow Trains Literary Journal, Flatirons Literary Review, Colorado Parent, and The Caterpillar. After earning my graduate degree in English from Middlebury College, I taught high school English for ten years. I then took five years to be with my children and during that time, published my writing—educational content for textbooks, personal essays, articles, and children's stories. I have now returned to teaching English to middle schoolers full time. I live with my two daughters in Boulder, Colorado, where we spend time playing outdoors and reading good writing.
