Afro-Boricua poet Tatiana Figueroa Ramirez graduated with a B.A. in English Literature from University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) and is a 2016 VONA Voices Alumna. She currently performs spoken-word in the greater Washington D.C. area and has previously performed in other regions of the U.S. as well as the Dominican Republic.
