Tony Gentry is the author of a novel The Coal Tower, the story collection Last Rites, the poetry collection Yearnful Raves, and five young adult biographies. Poems have been published in The Quarterly, Minetta Review, Richmond Magazine, Sow’s Ear Poetry Review, Deep South, Mad Swirl, Downtown, and Bottom Shelf Whiskey. Tony holds degrees from Harvard College (BA), New York University (MA), and the University of Virginia (PhD). He works as an occupational therapy professor at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. He blogs at tonygentry.
