Jasmin’s Tale
Jasmin's Tale written by: Vivek Subramanian - In Central Park, Manhattan, sunlight pierces through, casting a warm glow...
I am Vivek Subramanian, a Machine Learning Engineer with a deep passion for literature, philosophy, music, and the arts. I find immense joy in reading European and American literature, with Tolstoy and Anton Chekhov being my favorite writers. My interests extend to both Eastern and Western philosophy, as well as Western classical music, where I deeply admire the works of Beethoven, Schubert, Schumann, and Bach. In addition to music, I have a profound appreciation for European painting, with Albrecht Dürer being my favorite painter. I enjoy immersing myself in the artistic and historical richness of classical and Renaissance art. Traveling allows me to explore new cultures, gain fresh perspectives, and connect with the world's diverse artistic and intellectual traditions. A key influence in my journey has been the renowned writer Jeyamohan, whose monumental work on the Mahabharata—the longest novel on this epic—has inspired me deeply. His storytelling, rooted in history, mythology, and human emotions, has shaped my understanding of literature and philosophy.
