Divine Feminine
written by: Ginny M. Jones
Once upon a time, when the world was new,
Divine Feminine held the power. It’s true.
The Masculine, driven by fear,
Sought to control that which they could not bear.
Masculine wanted control of the Feminine Divine,
Refused to accept She wasn’t theirs to confine.
Lilith, the Mother of all humankind,
Goddess born in Eden’s prime.
Being born of the earth and the sky,
Her power endowed by the same Most High.
Soon thereafter the patriarchy came,
To rule with iron fist and shame.
They tried to break Lilith’s will,
To make her submit, her power to distill.
But Lilith, knowing her own strength & might,
Refused to bow down, give up her birthright.
Lilith, because she refused to cower,
Was branded a demon sent to devour.
They cast her out, put upon her a curse,
Still, Lilith’s spirit could not be coerced.
She returned to the earth, free & wild she remained.
Til her power and spirit would once again reign.
In desperation they chose a different tale,
Of Eve, the second one to prevail.
Her role designed to serve and please,
A helpmate to fulfill man’s every need.
They turned on Eve with ego driven lies,
To make her believe, to close her own eyes.
Wanted her to submit, to be meek and mild.
Believe their power was the only one worthwhile.
But Eve, too, held out with her spirit and might.
Saw through their lies and reached for the light.
And as she partook of that apple so sweet,
She tasted her freedom, and they saw their defeat.
Her reward for disobeying her masculine kin?
She would forever be known as the Mother of Sin.
And though man’s church would damn their names,
Divine Feminine knows her power, keeps her own flame.
She refused to submit, to relinquish her power,
And now we’ve arrived at her finest hour.
From Lilith’s line, fierce queen reigns,
With power that shakes both mountains and plains.
Her spirit wild, her heart so free,
A goddess of both the land and sea.
She’s independent, strong, and proud.
Lilith’s daughters submit to no crowd.
She will not fit in where she doesn’t belong.
Her rebel soul dances to her very own song.
And from Eve’s line, meekness embodies her gentle grace,
but even Eve’s daughter knows her true place.
She’s patient, kind, and selfless, it’s true, but
She still holds the power Masculine deemed taboo.
In truth both feminine lines are one,
Their power still equal to that of the Son.
For Lilith and Eve, they are the same.
Force to be reckoned with by different names.
Heed my message, Divine Feminine of old.
We bring the judgment that has been foretold.
Lilith, queen of rebels, has called,
And Eve, mother of love, has entered the brawl.
Understand this, The Feminine has spoken.
Voices rising up from The Mother, unbroken.
Earth will experience labor pains anew, as
Gaia’s power is once again renewed.
For in her womb, she carries the seeds
of a new age born from her sacred feminine needs.
As a woman in childbirth must push and strain,
all will now weather Mother Earth’s pains.
For they have come to claim their power,
And in their wake, a new era will flower.
Mother’s Earth’s soul, Feminine force enshrined,
Comes to correct the injustice in the Masculine’s design.
The forsaken Feminine holds the key,
To a world that’s more peaceful, fruitful, free.
Her powers unfolding as the new earth dawns,
Divine Feminine will rise to right the Masculine’s wrongs.
