Flow Within

Flow Within

written by: Savannah le Fay

Ever sat on the ground,
Eyes closed, concentration on the part between the eyes,
A deep breath in -hold-
and release,
The calmness settles in the body,
Brain wandering here and there,
Your inner voice
telling it to come back.
A deep breath -hold-
and here your body is releasing an unknown strain,
Release.

You’re thanking your body organs, tissues, cells
that quietly keep you alive.
Somewhere, it seems they acknowledged it –
Something unexplainable
You feel …

You again take a deep breath, letting it settle,
Feeling it travel along the blood
From brain to toes,
Holding your breath,
Observing your mind.

You feel stillness-
like everything just stopped –
And then release …
It feels fresh as a flower blooms.
