Glass House

Glass House

Heart contained—
Like a feral beast
Thrashing,
Tearing,
Shredding its seams.

Glass walls witness
(My pellucid prison)
As silver fissures
Dance their web-work
Across my crystalline keep.

I number each shard
Of this fragmenting home
Before the final
Shattering
Descent.
