We looked pretty cute

Thursday, happy to be back

NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:

Illustration description: White background. The haiku sits in the middle of the image in black Caflisch Script Pro Bold font. On either side of the haiku, two sparsely sketched figures seem to leap joyously, arms outstretched so that their hands touch as they seem to look at each other. Each also extends a foot toward the other, so that the arms and legs form the shape of a heart around the haiku. The lines of the figures glow with a fiery aura, fizzling yellow, orange, and red.
