NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:

Illustration description: A dark, fiery scene, what seems to be a damaged car barely visible in the background shadows. The haiku sits top and center in white “Segoe Script Bold” font, arching over the head of the lone figure in the image. They sit elegantly cross-legged, holding a cup of what might be coffee in both hands, perhaps having just had a sip. They look casually to the left of the image, seemingly indifferent to the flames which seem to have engulfed their clothes, leaving only the suggestion of a tank top straps, and whatever they were sitting on.
