Illustration description: A vibrant, rainbow sky radiating the spectrum out from the centre of the image. Stars spangle to expanse. Centremost, a figure which is little more than a gestural sketch in bright green, caught in energetic movement on an ellipse resembling an aqua spotlight. The haiku arches over the figure in the same aqua in Comic Sans MS Bold Italic font. Both the text and the figure are lined with a fiery glow, the spotlight with a finer white glow.
I am mostly a visual artist, but I like to create "found poetry", specifically daily haiku made from the statuses of my Facebook friends. It was my Mom who started this, and officially passed the responsibility onto me when she became too busy.
