March 7th Forever Different

Today is Saturday
Not just any day
Not just any weekend
Used to be a happy day
Used to be a special birthday.
For many years was happy
Now for many years will be unhappy
No records breaking on this day
Not even the temperature today.
Now for eternity March 7th, just another day.
Born and raised in Toronto and Thornhill Ontario. In 2001 I graduated from Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology. Travel and Tourism diploma. I'm mostly a self-taught writer. I'm published on Poetizer, Poetry Pea Podcast and many others.
