NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:

Illustration description: A rainbow background – magenta top left, blue top middle, cyan top right, green bottom right, yellow bottom middle, red, bottom left. The colours meet in the middle of the iris of an eye positioned top and center on what looks like a symmetrical, liquid gold splash in the shape of a crown. The angle of the eyebrow just above the eye suggests that it is less than impressed. The words of the haiku below confirm that impression in Adobe Caslon Pro Italic font, also golden, with a bevel.
